About Meridian Ranch
13027 Stone Valley Drive is located in Meridian Ranch, a master-planned community in Peyton, Colorado — situated on the high plains east of Colorado Springs in El Paso County. At roughly 6,900 feet elevation, the area offers dramatic skies, clean air, and genuine open space without sacrificing access to a full community infrastructure.
Meridian Ranch was developed with an emphasis on community life — it's not just a subdivision. Residents have access to a recreation center, fieldhouse, golf course, eight neighborhood parks, and 500 acres of parks, trails, and open space, all managed through the Meridian Service Metropolitan District.
Colorado Springs is roughly 25–30 miles west for major shopping, hospitals, and entertainment. The Falcon corridor (Hwy 24, ~5–10 miles west) handles most everyday errands with grocery, pharmacy, hardware, and dining.

Tips for Living Here
- Create your account at meridianservice.org — it's the hub for your water account, community rules, parks, and recreation access.
- Check the Meridian Ranch events calendar regularly — the community runs a solid year-round program of concerts, movies, and leagues.
- Keep your gas tank above half — there are limited stations within the community itself, and Peyton winters can make a short trip inconvenient.
- Stock an ice scraper and snow brush in every vehicle. You'll use it from October through April at this elevation.
- Check road conditions on Hwy 24 before driving in winter storms — it's the main artery and can ice quickly. CDOT: cotrip.org
- Tire pressure drops in cold weather at elevation. Check monthly through winter.
- Dry summers bring elevated wildfire risk in El Paso County. Be fire-smart in the yard and monitor county alerts.
- Wind is real on the plains. Secure lightweight yard items — patio furniture and canopies can travel fast in open-country gusts.
